Blue Screen Windows 10

Go to solution Solved by EliteSprrow,

Here is the solution for everybody that is having the same problem:

The problematic file is: cpuz138_x64.sys

Solution: Delete it.

Path: %TEMP%\cpuz138

In order to delete it, you will have to perform a clean boot.

I will do that as soon as possible.

So, you guys got me a little bit confused here, so I got some questions now:

1- should I try that "Reset This PC" or deleting the partition? I think that, by the discription of the error I am getting, a "Reset this pc" should be enought, because the corrupted file (cpuz138_x64.sys) would be deleted.

2- Reset This PC deletes all drivers and stuff like that?

3- Why would someone want to "flood the thread with pages "discussing" to get thousands of posts."?

PS: Loved your avatar

1 & 2 - "Reset this PC" deletes everything installed and that includes all drivers. The files in the drive were the OS is will get deleted as well so do a backup if you need to.

3 - Don't know why they do it but nevermind that. ;)

PS: Thank you, I am a fan of the series.

Reset this pc is pretty much a fresh install. Back up all files if you do this. I would suggest trying just resetting the CMOS first. If problem persists then reset the pc.

Hey, little help here? How can I clean my CMOS? I am using a ASUS MAXIMUS VII FORMULA

Is it like this: Turn off computer, press the button that is an arrow forming a circle (for how long?), and start pc normally?

Yes, just press that button. Don't need to hold it. Just press it. Basically your resetting the settings of the mobo aka the bios settings. Just press the arrow forming a circle button when PC is off.

Ok, I did it. Now just wait to see if the problem happens again
