I ordered a case that doesnt have any power switches, reset switches, mic/headphone, ect. Are there external ones you can buy? I can't find any anywhere. I'd love one that was touch screen or lcd type thing :) thanks!

That's......weird.

Do you have a motherboard that has a power-on button on it? If you do, go into BIOS and set it to start when you press a key on the keyboard or mouse.

Holy shit, the base for that thing is like $750, and if you actually have it made to spec you're looking at over $1000. Why do you need that? and is that button in the middle not a power button?

Actually, one better question is did you plug in the PWR button header on the board in the first place?

WHY DID YOU buy a 800$ case

Complicated to explain but basically me and my girlfriend ( soon to be wife :D) are sharing it. Her build goes in one side mine goes into the other ( its a two computer type case) We are painting it blue/black themed and putting the Frostmourne life sized sword sticking into the top. Yes we could use two seperate cases but this is more bada$$ especially seeing as we both have custom loops. Much easier to put everything together in that.

Holy shit, the base for that thing is like $750, and if you actually have it made to spec you're looking at over $1000. Why do you need that? and is that button in the middle not a power button?

Actually mine ended up being 1.5k :P It is but it doesnt work/isnt suppose to work. just a spot to put one. The case is only the case.. fans/power switches/led's/ect are all suppose to be custom :P

Well you probably cant buy a touch screen button but you could make one. Will require some work thought. You could probably buy a small touch screen and then connect it to something like an aurdino and then connect the power switch to one of the arduinos digital pins

Yes i did. The mobo works fine in the case its currently in. Powers on and all  that. The TX10 i linked above doesnt have a power switch or any of that jazz at all. Soooo you have to buy a custom one which i cant find anywhere.

You can short out the two pins that connect the PWR button header to turn the PC on. Just make sure you're holding the insulated side of something metal while doing it.

Then go into BIOS and there should be an option to power the PC by way of pressing any button on the keyboard. Most motherboard BIOS allow for this.

If you know how to wire them up, you can use these http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_12?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=vandal+resistant+switch&sprefix=vandal+resistant+switch%2Caps%2C137

CaseLabs use them if you select the option to have them included.

EDIT: I think they use Lamptron specifically. http://www.lamptron.com/

they cheaped out on a 1.5k case. nice.

Anyway, go to a hardware store and get some wire, a switch (button so it will be like a regular case button) and some solder/alligator clamps. set up a circuit from your mobo's power pins to the button and mount it behind the useless fake button.

Didnt really cheap out.. everything with that case is to allow people to customize it the way they want. For example.. if they incldued crap fans then I would just have to replace them with better ones.. so why include fans at all?
