Thats actually a pretty good idea. If i cant find anything else i'll probably do that.

Yeah it will probably take some reaserch but would probably be quite a fun project. I have had the idea myself but I don't have an touch screen laying around. But here is a site with all the hardware you would need. It also have some great tutorials. And if you want to take it even further you could add a wifi module to the arduino with the touch screen and then be able to turn on the PC from your mobile or whatever that is connected to internet.
