Windows 10 Bugs

What bugs have you discovered so far in Windows 10? Mine would be Gmail. My Gmail for whatever reason will not load, I have to load the standard HTML version. All was fine before the upgrade then it suddenly doesn't work? It works elsewhere in my house too, I use Google Chrome.

do a clean install of 10

and you won't have really any problems

There's RAM leaks? Could you elaborate, I haven't been having any problems.

Touch pad on a laptop would move the cursor left when moving my finger right, and viceversa.

 

Another laptop would lose the scrolling with the touch pad.

 

Both problems were caused by windows 10 updating the drivers of the touchpad with a ELAN driver that is not right for the hardware.

Basically you browse the internet for an hour and find your PC using 80% of the memory and slowly crawling up to 99%. It is a big problem yet MS doesn't care

Well it isn't happening with everyone and it isn't always the internet. Mine was steam for me which was causing it

I had a problem with Youtube at 1080p/60fps with Chrome on my laptop, it would overheat my cpu (i7-4700HQ) and then shut down, I had to install Chrome beta. Other than that it has been working pretty good, haven't noticed anything else.

How Edge manages downloads is still not fix, even after RTM release. Say your downloading a very large file (a linux distro). with IE, when you close it off, the download windows will pop up and contine with the download until it's finished. With Edge, when you close it, then download automatically cancels. Now when you reopen edge and download the same file, you'll have a incomplete download along with the new current download. There is no separate download window for Edge and to change the default download location, you have to manually add a registry settings.

 

The other is, my netboook running with a AMD HD7340 igpu will not play videos properly. When playing a video it will be a black or green screen with no picture, but I can hear the sound. I will have to manually drag the slider forward or back to make the picture show up. There is no driver support for my igpu and the only driver availabe is through windows update. This does not happen with 8.1. On my desktop which is running on a HD5850 does not have this problem. Did a clean install on my netbook, but that didn't fix it.

It totally broke on my dad's PC. nothing worked.

Is it a notebook by chance? Some notebooks don't have properly updated drivers. Sony Vaio is notoriously bad right meow and Sony even said don't install Windows 10 until they release updated drivers eventually.
