Hey guys, so i have no joke had a constant headache since about 2009?  Anyway, (well not constant but i can't go a day without getting one) some are painful as, others a very very faint pain, but not too bad. Anyway, i have a question, if i am having a good day without a headache, and it's hot and i do sports i get this headache, in my right temple, i get it when it's hot and i do physical activity, and even if i have druken a pool load of water i still get one. If i drink Gatorade it helps with it, not being there. Anyone else get this? It won't go away until i sleep 6+ hours. Anyone else had a similar experience?

I get horrid caffeine headaches if I go without it for a handful of hours. A whole day without it? sheer agony, can barely function. That's an extreme though, just continue telling me caffeine addiction doesn't exist.

doubtful that's what your problem is.

Chronic headaches could be a sign of something much bigger, like a tumor (or not). Have you seen a specialist about this?

Yes. Actually when i started getting headaches in 2009-2010, i had about half a year off school how server they were getting. We traveled 500km+ to see doctors, waited months to see specialists but nothing. The normal headaches aren't bad just the ones from the heat, so i was seeing if anyone else has had a similar experience....

If it's from the heat, try keeping your head cool... or if it becomes too much, might be time to move to a cooler country...

Sounds like a Migraine ...

Could be a Tumor ...

Could be Hypoxia ...

Why didn't you go to the doctor when you first had it ? It's been 6 years ...

Edit : If it's from the heat , could be a heatstroke or something that I can't remember correctly ...

Have you had an MRI?

When I was ~25 I began experiencing migraines in clusters that would last a week or longer. Seemingly at random throughout a given year, sometimes with as much as 6 months between episodes. These went on untill I was around 30 if I recall. So for the last 2 years I have been episode free (I've gone and said it now)...

When an attack would begin the symptoms would start with visual aura first. I would experience flashing zigzags that would expand from a point in the center of my visual field to the extreme perimeter. Often resulting in the total loss of vision in one or both eyes. That would mark the real terror to come...

The next aura was usually auditory in that I would get tinnitus in one or both ears to the point of total loss of hearing. At this point the pain would usually begin with a throbbing in the right side of my skull.

Rapidly following this that throbbing pain would become much sharper and begin to escalate to skull splitting preportions, traveling from side to rear and front... Then would come the nasties; I'd often loose sensation in one whole side of my body, my speach would slur and I'd become confused. This combined with loosing vision in one or both eyes and hearing in one or both ears was terrifying. If that wasn't enough I'd also be vomiting from nausea caused by extreme dizzines and alternating between feeling sweltering heat and the cold of death.

I would lie on the floor like this for sometimes 3 hours or more. When the attack would finally subside I'd get to be certain about looking forward to the next one in just a few hours time.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.

All normal right? Mine were.

To this day the right side of my head is tender. For example when I get ill and have coughing fits if I am not careful I can trigger very sharp pain on that side. Or if when sleeping I lie on that side it can begin to thump.
