So I have had several storms in my area lately. A friend of mine has had an issue with his computer not booting up could it be that his power supply was fried by one of the electrical outages?

 

Possibly, I have a friend who has been having issues since a storm.

Reasons for a computer not booting? As I said there are very many, especially since you haven't given us any info so we can't narrow it down.
