Documenting game collection?

Does anyone have some suggestion on good ways to document game collections?

Got a couple hundred games now and I want a good way to document them all so I can know what games I have and what I don't have (when I'm in store or on a flea market or something). I have to be able to just search the game's name on my phone and see if I have the game and what condition and stuff

 

I currently use a Google Document, but it is not that convenient because I can't search if I have the game yet or not..

The things I document about the game are:

Name, region, quantity (have a few doubles), condition, completion (with or without box or manual, etc.)

I also want to be able to see how many games I have total and how many per system (only the latter is automatically possible with my current system)

 

Anyone got some suggestions?

Should I maybe use a Google spreadsheet? (So I can access it on my phone and PC)

You should bee using spreadsheet for mass inventory  much more convenient

excel is pretty sweet once you  learn it. 

I agree with this dude.Excel is pretty good also word will do since you can make tables

its not on par but, for what you're doing it should work fine. For academic or real work excel is where it's at.

Well seeing how there both free and both have apps. 

but spreadsheet is more integrated with google services.

excel is more advance but spreadsheet it working on it.

I am sure there is office for mobile as for what you want to see.Yes, you should be able to sort them and see just what you want.

Is up to you.I never use spreadsheets so i can't talk much about something i don't know, but i like the whole office suite and it does really well what it's supposed to do

You could just draw every name of your games in MS paint

If you really wanted to make it advanced then you could make a mySQL database.

 

Kinda overkill though. Google Sheets/Excel should do fine.
