Would it be close? can anything do that? I'm fine with like 90-100 but anything below that I feel like it lags :/

drop the 3 monitors and get an Acer x34.

seriously 3 monitor setups suck epically. been there done it.. went 4k.

titan x is a pointless card now the 980ti is around as its 95% the same at half the price.

and if you're a gamer ditch the 5820k and get a 4790k.

x99 is a pointless platform for gamers and ddr4 will. make zero difference in games.

I already have this build :P I do a lot of rendering and other sorts of things for school thats why i chose the 5820k instead of the 4790k The acer x34 isnt very smooth is it? The whole reason i have these monitors is that they run at 144hz all the time and have relatively close to zero input lag.

Games are better with a Z170 or Z97 platform, and you will need more GPU power to run thoes screens.

But surround is absolute shit for anything besides productivity or simulators so just get one 1440p 144hz display.

The answer is Yes and No.  Depends what games.  CS:GO? yes, you can do 90+ fps on 3x1080p monitors.

Crysis 3? No.

Are you OK with reduced settings on high end games?  If so, then yes.

The 980 ti is a seriously badass card, but it's only one card.  Two of them would be much better for your setup, if you can find the cash under your couch.

Stop lying to yourself we all know no one can tell the difference between a 5ms and 1ms response time.

Then why did you not get IPS panels that actually have good color reproduction?

I already have the three screens. Would it really be worth ditching three screens for one screen that is ever so slightly higher pixels?

I'm not saying i can tell the difference between gtg 5ms or 1ms. I'm saying when i've played on tv's before and a hp pavilion 23bw i noticed a significantly longer time for moving my mouse.. which made me entirely inaccurate.  I dont believe the 1ms vs 3ms vs 5ms or whatever.. I just know input lag is real and a pain in the a$$ on some monitors.

Because when i bought these ( when they first came out for an entirely different computer) This was highly recommended and 1440p wasn't a viable option yet. Also as stated above this was my first monitor i'd been on that actually ran with pretty much no input lag.

the x34 g sync version is apparently a 100hz panel. its suposed to be the best no compromise monitor.

I really would advise against 3 way monitors. they look. good but they really aren't!

Is this out yet? I searched for it and only found news about it not really reviews or anywhere to buy. Release date if not?

correct. if you got a fury x you'd want a free sync monitor. and nvidia uses g sync. but do the same job but with slightly different approaches
