pretty normal for HP, their fan curves prefer acoustics over thermals.

HP laptops tend to run stupid hot no matter what... They have fairly bad coolers. :/

HP takes the AMD approach to things. If you can't boil water on it, it's not hot enough. I can just imagine the meeting... LET'S BURN IT DOWN!

They actually have pretty good coolers, its just the fan curve that screws things up. When I run P95 on my HP desktop board, it won't change the CPU fan RPM until it reaches 75c, and the case fan only ramps up when the CPU reaches 80c.

but it doesn't have a fan

Oh, then 94c is fine I guess, P95 is a pretty heavy load(and in this case, not realistic of actual work). I'm sure your CPU is throttling, if not borderline, but its fine I guess(up to 100c is what I allow for laptops, any higher then you have issues). If it had active cooling then 94c would be pretty hot, although typical for a HP, but for passive cooling "anything goes" as long as its under 100c.

If it doesnt have any fan what would you expect after running a stress test?

well it is 85 c on gpu as well while gaming its around 80 c on prime 95 its 90 c so i don't know hp said its perfectly fine ... >.<

i think its not throttling as i ran aida 64 it didn't show any throttling

also i just talked to hp customer care they said idle should be around 35 c what should i do ?

That nmachine has a -Y CPU, no? I don't know what the thermal limits for that is or how those chips work perfectly well. If you're getting your max speed then sure. Most intel machines have a 95c throttle point.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
