How do I recover old favorites form IE on 10?

So when a family member upgraded to windows 10 they lost all of their favorites from IE. Is there any way to recover all of this information as its an extensive list of sites and would be a pain to hunt down. Never mind, if anyone runs into this issue you can just port into chrome.
