Windows 10 Upgrade Architecture

Go to solution Solved by Atmos,

32bit goes to 32bit, 64bit goes to 64bit if I'm not mistaken, so no.

And the media creation tool should work regardless.

I'm considering turning my old laptop into a mini FTP server.

Is it possible, using the media creation tool, to upgrade Windows 7 Pro 32-bit to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit?

Also, if I did not receive the invitation and the option to reserve, will using the creation tool work?

Honestly I would advise against running Windows 10 for an FTP server on your laptop. I suggest going the Linux route as it will be less resource intensive.

Well, for now it will be run so that I can transfer 64GB of photo/video, then I will decide what to do with it.
