Building My First PC!

I've been following LTT for a while now and I've decided that I'm going to venture into building my own rig, I've settled on the following specs and was wondering if you could tell me how they will perform in terms of modern gaming on Ultra Settings at 1080p? and maybe if you could suggest some changes?

 

CPU: Core i5 4590

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970

MoBo: Gigabyte H81M-D2V

Case: NZXT Phantom 240

PSU: Corsair VS-650w

RAM: 16GB Kingston Hyper X Fury 1600MHz

Storage: 1TB WD Black 7200rpm HDD

Cooling: Corsair H60 Hydro Series

 

 

How do you think this will perform guys?

no real need to go for an h60 with a lock cpu. i would probably replace that h60 with an ssd.

It will run any game ultra no problem

I would only get 8gb and get an ssd like a 120gb samsung 850 evo

Pretty much what he said, no real need for after market cooling on a stock clocked CPU

All but GTA V will run max settings~ you'll be set until more games just as intensive as GTA come out

which who knows how long that will be because GTA V took almost 2 years on PC Dev

Get WD Blue not Black (waste of money for gaming..no benefits at all)

Get SSD

Get 8GB RAM (one stick)

Get air cooler not H60 (no need for WC on locked CPU)

Get better PSU like EVGA B2 for example

no need for that cooler. The stock is more than enough. It can get loud though.

Will the H60 operate much quieter than stock? If so I may stick with it for when I get a k series processor later on a delve into overclocking
