I need help

Go to solution Solved by martward,

Why would the computer say 4GB then?

It says 4851MB on my computer while my GPU has a staggering 1GB of vram. Apperently it's not the vram of the GPU

It includes system memory used by the GPU.

Which GPU do you have (brand and model)?

I don't know much about graphics cards, but I noticed something weird. I went in speccy and it said that I had 2GB. Then I went into the "dxdiag" thing and saw that I had 4GB. Which one is it?

(Sorry for the danish)

Simply use the software GPU-Z. That is usually always accurate and should tell you if you have a 2GB or 4GB card.

Btw.: The brand seems to be Gigabyte. But we don't know which model it is. Gigabyte produces, like any other brand, more than one model of a graphics card. For example the GTX 770 Windforce and the GTX 770 G1 Gaming.

The GTX 770

Yes I got that, but there is more than one GTX 770 out there and some have 2GB and some have 4GB, that's why you'll need to know the brand (MSI, Gigabyte etc) and the model (which MSI or Gigabyte or whatever brand you have).

Oddly, yes. I can see by your GPU Clock that you probably have a Gigabyte GV-N770OC-2GD, which has 2GB.

Apperently a couple Gigabyte cards have that same clock.
