How much VRAM is enough?

captainblargh9

I want to know if 1GB VRAM good? I'm building a budget PC the card is the 750 1gb. So what I'm asking is, is 1gb of VRAM good for gaming and what does it do to performance

Depends on the games, settings and the resolution.

For that card, 1GB is enough. Higher than 1080p and more than 1GB vRAM usage and the card isn't going to be doing great anyway.

EDIT: If you haven't built the PC yet, try to squeeze in a 750Ti, it's a great little card, much better than the 750

2GB is the minimum you should go for if you are pushing 1080P

1GB may be enough for online games like Dota 2

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
