This is a great deal: http://www.dabs.com/products/msi-geforce-gtx-780-902mhz-3gb-pci-express-3-0-hdmi-twin-frozr-oc-8VF5.html?q=780&src=16

Mine arrived today but I am slightly annoyed as I paid £504, however it is awesome.

Your avatar scares me.

I'd personally go 780, can SLI in the future if you want to.

No. You'd be better off buying two 7970's for about the same amount of money.

In that case, you'd be better off saving your money for 9970's.

What's your psu? You could just get 2 7970's for about the same price for better performance.

Crossfire = worst idea ever. If multigpu, get SLI. If not, get single card and 780/Titan smoke other cards right now.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

If you want multigpu right now, get SLI.

If not, and I recommend single cards for smooth gaming with sensible frame times, get single card and here 780/Titan smoke everything.

Ha, you may be able to get waterblocks but can you afford everything else for watercooling? You can easily spend more then a GTX 780 just for WC parts.

And btw crossfire is still terrible idea with all those drop/runt frames and microstuttering making it look good on paper with fraps but you aren't really getting smooth image and its definitely not real frames you are getting there.

Have you heard about the new drivers? They fix that.

xfx 750w 80+ silver

That's sounds about right for a 7970 crossfire. I'd prefer 800-850w for a bit more headroom for maximum overclocking but since you have a silver and not a bronze, shouldn't run into any problems.
