Does anyone know how many gigs a backup image of windows is, need to get a usb drive for a backup

Windows 7 installation is 3.10gb if that is what you mean

CPU: i5 4430 PSU: XFX 550w Ram: 8gb Patriot Viper 1600mhz


Motherboard: MSI H87M-G43 Case: Fractal Design Define R4

Sure about that? Just right clicked on my Windows folder, and clicked properties. Came up to be 24GB.

I mistook what he meant, what I said was a backup installation file.

Mine came to be only 23.9 GB.

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

A clean install, using Acronis, installing windows and doing basic updates and basic programs, is around 11-12GB
