Heaven Society - Week 54 (Food Wars!)

So far I'm finding this pretty close to average as far as shounen anime go, but i can understand why people would consider it better than it really is. It's competent where it has to be, and tries to make its underwhelming narrative as flashy and food-porny as possible. That's enough to raise it slightly-above-average for me, and way up to "actually great" for a lot of people. To me it's like Blue Exorcist, except it lacks a character as charming as the demon-cat, and instead has lame foodgasms.

sounds about right I liked blue exorcist and food wars but understand that they really are not that great lol

Been following the manga for long. More than once Ive had to get out of bed and stuff my mouth with something mid-chapter... The anime is only going to make this worse.
