Question about r9 390

Go to solution Solved by Kinda Bottlenecked,

Nope. Definitely not worth it.

Im planning to get a r9 390 (asus). This is for 1080p high/ultra gaming. But my question is, is the asus r9 390X worth the extra 100 euros? Because im on a budget. But if it is waaayyy better i can change my planned build. To be able to put it in.

Thanks in advance

Its not worth it, granted this was a 4K test, but still, raw performance is raw performance.

defenitly not worth it since the r9 390 can max out almost any game currently at 1080p 60fps. The 390x is geared for 1440p gaming. Also i recommend msi instead os asus it has better cooler...

If you can find a decent 290x for the same price as the 390 it would be worth it IMO.

But defenitly get the 390 for 1080p, more than enough

Well, it is an asus themed build so thats why I'll take asus but I understand your recommendation
