Best cheap tablet?

What is one of the best cheap laptops for kids to use at a private school?

My friend needs one (mostly just for his school since they require tablets)

Budget is under $100

I thought no kindle fire because of comparability issues

Preowned MemoPad. 100 dollars isnt anything really for a decent tablet
