So i have been trying to build my first PC and have a limited budget due to my age. The problem i have is with the PSU

My parts all work together as far as i can tell, but i am trying to use the Corsair Builder Non-modular 430w PSU

The problem i face is whether or not the PSU can support enough power to my system, and whether or not i will have enough Cable for all of my components.

The parts list is here, and i really need help: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/dis_the_chris1/saved/QFWCmG

Any other advice you could give on the system would also really help out (also, please ignore the keyboard, it is only there so when i buy it, its in the same list as everything else)

Thanks,

Chris.

EDIT: i had swapped the previous drive with a Cooler Master Thunder 600W supply

the new PSU can be found here. Any thoughts?

Power supply is a no-no. Corsair makes excellent power supplies (well, the ones that are manufactured by SuperFlower and SeaSonic), but the CX series is definitley not one of them. If you're going for a Corsair power supply, use a TX, RMi, HXi, or AXi.

None of Corsair's stuff is made by Super Flower dawg. Older designs used Seasonic. They have the AXis which are great (bar coil whine) and are made by Flextronics. The RMis are made by CWT and are great as well, same goes for the HXis. They're all just overrpriced :P

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

My bad. I could have sworn they were made by SuperFlower, my mistake. I have an HXi and an AXi power supply by Corsair, and I have to say that I love them. I had heard about coil whine on the AXi line, and I was initially concerned by that. But, they've proven to be amazing power supplies, and I'm glad I went with them.

As long as yours have no coil whine then don't worry about them. Nonetheless buy other things. Better for your wallet that way :P

I switched it to this. Is this a better buy? i am on a budget that doesnt have much breathing room, and this seems quite good
