I'm stuck on the downloading updates in windows 8 xD

Trust me, it can only get better from here. Did you actually download that shit from Corsair's website? You could have downloaded some nasty stuff. Also try disabling the Windows Defender, if that's still a thing. Sorry, my parts get here tomorrow and I can't really help anyone (I've been using Win10 for several months).

Corsair Link is indicated as incompatible on my upgrade.

Right click on the file you are trying to install and select Properties. If it shows "this file came from another computer and

might be blocked to help protect this computer." at the bottom, click Unblock.

No clue... Windows 8.1 still hasn't given me a notification to install on both of my computers.

There should be a way to force the notification.

I'll just wait though... Probably the safest option.

Probably, I personally am in no huge rush to change over to W10. With OS X releases I was more willing to wait for it to download and then install but Windows I could care less.
