Also try disabling the Windows Defender, if that's still a thing. Sorry, my parts get here tomorrow and I can't really help anyone (I've been using Win10 for several months).

Right click on the file you are trying to install and select Properties. If it shows "this file came from another computer and

might be blocked to help protect this computer." at the bottom, click Unblock.

Download the newest version of Corsair Link from Corsair's website... works perfectly.

 

Edit: Just to be clear.. i am now running version 3.2.5676 of Corsair Link.

Probably, I personally am in no huge rush to change over to W10. With OS X releases I was more willing to wait for it to download and then install but Windows I could care less.
