Windows Bricks While loading

I just bought a new motherboard so I had to rebuild my system. While in the process of putting the processor in, it fell 2-3 feet and hit hard tile floor. I looked carefully at the bottom and top of the processor. The motherboard I just recently bought is the Ga-Z77x-UD3H. While trying to boot Windows It will get to a certain point and give me the BSOD for about 0.1 seconds.. It then will restart and give me the "Start Up Repair" or "Launch Windows Normally". Upon doing start up repair it gives me 2 options, Restore System, Cancel. We have been reading around and nothing seems to work. I will upload a video of the screen.

System Specs

*CPU=Intel Core i7 3770k

*MOBO=GA=Z77X-UD3H

*RAM=Corsair Vengeance 16gb 1600mhz

*GPU=GTX 660 Ti

*Windows 7 Ultimate

Chances are the CPU is damaged. But can you re-install Windows?

The system works fine. I can go into the bios and everything works perfectly.  Only windows doesnt load.  I will only reinstall windows if it comes to that.  It seems that is what is going to happen.

sometimes hard drives etc don't like hardware changes try reinstalling the OS if you don't mind losing the files that might work.

It could be the way the hard drive is configured in the BIOS (IDE, AHCI, Raid...)  Find the setting under peripherals (I think), and change it to IDE.  See if this fixes your problem.  It is a problem with the SATA Controller.  If you have switched motherboards and kept your old HDD, this seems like it would be the problem.

what he meant is, did you just upgrade your components and keep the harddrive the same without backing up your data?

 

if so that might be the problem since using the old drivers for the different new hardware might cause the problems youre having

Your processor is most likely fine, Windows can be very picky when it comes to changing out a motherboard and I actually had the same exact problem in the past where upgrading the motherboard caused a bluescreen on boot (some Windows driver issue) I did end up having to re-install Windows.

I had switched to IDE and it had gotten farther than it did in the video, the windows orbs completed the cycle except, it BSOD.

I am using the same drive.  The drivers I believe are the same as the old motherboard.  If nothing works I will just kill it and reinstall windows.

Be 100% sure that the drivers are the same by comparing the boards.
