Hey so I know a little about computers but I  just need some advice on some of the hardware I should be looking for. I use after effects, premiere pro, and Photoshop at an intermediate level. I want to play games like dayz, rust, and arma 2 smoothly but not to insane. Should I get a i5-4690k or a i7-4790, do I need anything more than a Nvida geforce gtx 750 Ti 2gb. And 8gb ram or 16. This would be alot of help thanks!

You'd be better off with something along the lines of a 960 or 970 than a 750ti, and an i5 4690k is fine, the i7 would just give faster rendering times.

I use my rig for gaming at 1080p and editing/rendering videos in premiere pro along with graphical stuff in photoshop and it does perfectly fine. (Specs in signature)

Motherboard: ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($135.98 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card  ($358.89 @ Amazon)
Case: Fractal Design Core 2300 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($59.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $1000.81
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

This maybe? You'll probably want to throw an aftermarket cooler in there some time down the road and probably an SSD too, but for starting off this would work perfect for you.
btw, this tutorial worked perfectly on my 970 g1 gaming to enable 0RPM mode. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/275897-tutorial-how-to-make-your-900-series-video-card-have-a-0-fan-mode/ so now at idle it is silent, and when gaming it's still pretty damn quiet and cool.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

Change PSU for an XFX 550w, put in a Crucial BX100/MX100 Samsung 850 EVO SSD and get a Gaming 5 motherboard and that build is perfect.

16GB of fast RAM is needed. Personally, I'd go with a Haswell-E or wait for the Skylake series instead of either of those Haswell-DT's, and a bump in the graphics card would be nice. Maybe a 970 STRIX 4GB?

Why? I had 32GB for the past year and a half or so and now my ITX is down to 8GB... and I don't ever really notice.

[spoiler = "My Computer Stuff"]

My ITX:

240 Air ; Z87I-Deluxe ; 4770K ; H100i ; G1 GTX 980TI ; Vengeance Pro 2400MHz (2x8GB) ; 3x 840 EVO (250GB) ; 2x WD Red Pro (4TB) ; RM650 ; 3x Dell U2414H ; G710+ ; G700s ; O2 + ODAC + Q701 ; Yamaha HTR-3066 + 5.1 Pioneer.

Things I Need To Get Off My Shelf:

250D ; 380T ; 800D ; C70 ; i7 920 ; i5 4670K ; Maximus Hero VI ; G.Skill 2133MHz (4x4GB) ; Crucial 2133MHz (2x4GB) ; Patriot 1600MHz (4x4GB) ; HX750 ; CX650M ; 2x WD Red (3TB) ; 5x 840 EVO (250GB) ; H60H100iH100i ; H100i ; VS247H-P ; K70 Reds ; K70 Blues ; K70 RGB Browns ; HD650.

Its $100 over budget but it is worth it:

If you have to cut off price by getting a 960

Also may want to add another stick of ram later

<p>Wish I could have this already!! : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qTLRjX
