Okay. So i'm building in a NZXT h440. My initial plan was to buy an evga hybrid gpu and put the radiator in the rear fan slot and then have another watercooler for the cpu in the top but as im going with only cpu watercooler, would it be okay to have 3x120 fans in the front as intake and only one 140 mm in the back as exhaust? Would i need more exhaust? Don't really have room for more than 3 intake.

Three intake and one exhaust is fine, if possible, one more exhaust fan would be best.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

I use three 120mm as an intake, two pressure optimized (less airflow) fans as an outtake through the radiator on top and one 140mm fan as an outtake at the back.

That is pretty much the perfect fan setup.

If you don't use a radiator on top and don't have any fans on top then that's fine, too.

Yeah i could put one more in the top even without a radiator i guess. Not sure if two 140 mm exhaust would equal out the 3 120mm intake to create negative pressure though.

one extra 140 mm would be too much imo, the rad will be diminishing the air that's coming in so you wouldn't get as much air in as 2 non obstructed 140mm fans can draw out causing negative air pressure which will lead into air getting sucked in through every (non filtered) hole.

No it is fine. I have 3x120mm in the front of my H440 and 2x140mm in the top on a radiator. I have positive air pressure until my blower style GPU cooler starts exhausting a lot of air (60% fan speed)

Okay. So you have no fan in the rear? Also, do you use high pressure or high airflow fans in the front of the case? I heard due to the padding it could be a good idea to actually get pressure fans in the front even though you dont have a radiator there.

Yes, no fan in the rear. I am using two of the stock fans in the front of the case and a cooler master fan (air pressure) that I had laying around. (I broke a fan blade when putting the fan filter on one time.)

In the top I have the Swiftech Helix fans that came with the H240-x running around 800-1000 RPM.

I just ordered fans now.

Went with 3 x Noctua NF-S12a FLX in the front

and 1 x Noctua NF-P14s Redux 1500 PWM for the radiator and exhaust.

Sounds good or should i add one more exhaust in the top?
