Do i have a bad card?

Do i have a bad card? Im running sli 670s and in bf3 at 1080p with the lowest possible settings i will drop below 55fps at times, and other times ill be getting like 130fps. does any1 know why? please help. should i send the cards back? or what?

It could be the drivers you are running, if you have 320.xx completely uninstall all your nvidia drivers then run ccleaner and clean out your registry then do a fresh install of 314.22 drivers and you should be good to go.

i am running the 326.41 drivers arent those the most recent?

They probably are but the last time I checked the most recent nvidia drivers were causing a ton of issues with people's cards. 314.22 were the last stable drivers that I've heard of.

How do you install drivers, OP? Do you use express installation? Making sure only to install the display driver and PhysX?

yes that did fix the fps probelm, BUT now... im getting this problem where after im playing a game for like 10-20min it like freezes my whole computer like it freezes for 3 seconds and unfreezes for 1 second and freezes again and doesnt stop so i have to do a hard boot. :/ any1 kno anything about this?

it is not a new build all i did recently was get a second 670. My specs are: i5-3570k 3.40ghz, sli 670s ftw, on a z77 extreme4 motherboard, 8 gigs of ram (dont remember what kind) all run by a corsair tx850w psu :D

i was due to bad drivers, but now im getting much more with both cards than 1
