So, my uncle recently installed a survaillance systems and the dudes recommended him to get a decent monitor just for it, which is a huge waste of money. Instead he wants to get a netbook for just web browsing and other light stuff that allows him to use as the survaillance screen when he's at home, so he'll probably need a screen with decent resolution.

 

Any recommendations? I haven't looked into any mobile computers for the past 5 years.

Look at the HP pavilion DM1, I got one for the missus and swapped out the HDD for a Samsung 840. The thing is very fast for a netbook, keeps up with most "off the shelf" desktops.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
