Hi Everyone,

I have a new build and I'm curious what my max temps should be. I have no overclock on either GPU or CPU. The CPU is running on the stock cooler. My Temps seem hotter than my older PC and I'm thinking its due to the restricted airflow of my new H440 case. I'm hitting max of about 75C on CPU and 72 on GPU while gaming. What is the max acceptable temperature for each? When do I need to worry :)

Specs

CPU: 4690K (stock 3.5 - 3.9Ghz)

GPU: MSI GTX 970 (Stock)

Case: NZXT H440

Thank you!

What is your Idle temps ?

72 on GPU seems okay ...

And what are you measuring the temps with ?

75c and 72c are both acceptable temperatures while gaming. They may not be the greatest, but you wont cause harm to your components.

Idle on the CPU is low to mid 30s. GPU is low to mid 40s

it should be okay I think . What about the temperature of the room ?

Are you using the stock cooler or an aftermarket one?mthey are fine none the less but if it stocks you might wanna invest into a aftermarket one. I suggest the BeQuiet! Pure rock
