Win 10 size?

Go to solution Solved by Deletive,

ISO is like 3-5gb's

Hos many GB is win 10 im only asking cus the offcial faq was useless

wait 4 days and we'll find out.

probably 5GB and 24-30 GB expanded for x64

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Expect around to be 20GB after install. This is what it is on my side. I would reverse an additional 5-10GB for programs that will add some files inside, future Windows updates, and you need space for Temp directory usage by your programs. If you are tight in space, Windows 10 will compress itself. You'll reduce performance, and CPU usage will be higher (due to the decryption it will be doing to read each file as they are in used), but you'll have more space. If you are on a mobile system expect reduction in battery life due to this fact, if you are on a tiny drive. If you have plenty of space, Windows 10 will not do this.

The ISO file for Windows 10 Professional 64-bit is 3.8GB

Oh i have tons of space left on my ssd it just that to download 1 gb it takes about 70 minutes on my internet... worst part is that its a forced dl so i wont be playing any games -.-

Can you go at a coffee shop or McDonalds or something for the download? That is what I would do personally.
