yeah, but matching sticks in matching colors.

4GB with 4 GB of the same brand/model in the black

2GB with 2 GB of same brand/model in the blue

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

It doesn't matter that much, but you do get a wee bit more performance if you put matching sticks in the same color slots. Check your motherboard guide of where to put them first. (Usually is the furthest set away from the CPU, which would be slots 2 and 4, starting by the cpu socket)

Does the colours I install the ram matter? There are 2 blue and 2 black ones, is it as long as I put them in the same colour?

If you've got two dimms, stick them in two slots that are the same colour, if you've got one or three dimms, put them in any (if there are two matching dimms then put them in the same color slots and put the different one in the other color slots), if you have 4 dimms, fill up all 4 slots, if its two different sets, have each set in one color of slot, if its all one set, just fill up the slots lol
