Power Button Broke

Go to solution Solved by Nater,

Whelp taking the io off and putting it back on 20 times seems to have fixed the problem.

My power button on my 750d is broke and I don't want to send it back what's my best option? My Mobo has a power button on it but I don't feel like taking the side off just to turn my computer on. My current solution is using a screwdriver through one of the holes and pressing the power button but I don't want to do that forever.

How did it break? Do you know any nearby metalworking shops that can fix it for ya? Maybe you need some electrical help?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

just rip off the button and touch the 2 leads together oor get something like this and wire it up to the existing button wires http://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-Car-Engine-Start-Blue-LED-Push-Button-Switch-Ignition-Starter-Kit-/400722183914?hash=item5d4ce746ea&vxp=mtr

What do you mean it broke? It split in half? There isn't much to a switch that can break.

Your power button broke and you don't want to get a replacement.. Okay dude. Replace it or glue it back together.

Before I got my Enthoo Luxe, I had a Zalman case and the power button was broke. I emailed them and they sent me a new one free of charge. You could try asking Corsair for a replacement button.

You could ghetto rig two wires to the front panel connectors so you can start it by shorting them.

Maybe something is blocking it?

You all do realize that Corsair sells replacement parts for their cases and he can buy a new IO pannel for $15, right?

Ask Corsair to send a new front i/o panel if the case is still under warranty.
