How to change the Android UI?

Zegame

I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 and I have installed a newer Android version.

Original version, 4.1

Updated version, 4.4

In the new version, there is an upper bar and a lower bar two bars, but in the original version both bars are merged into the lower bar. The old version is more efficient because it occupies less space and I have a larger area for apps.

I would like to know how to merge the two bars into one or restore the old UI.

Thanks.

You can't.

That was part of the refreshed UI and even a launcher can't change that.

The best answer I can give is a custom ROM, but given Google's UI guidelines, they really won't return to the old way where the status bar and navbar are one.

That was part of Honeycomb, and the entire tablet UI changed in ICS onwards.

You can't change the notification bar, you should root and install 5.0 lollipop based cyanogen if available, its better than 4.4 kitkat

Heyyo,

DON'T install Lolipop 5.0.2... it has some performance improvements over 4.4.4 Kitkat but suffers from memory leaks as well. If you want to use CyanogenMod? I'd go as far as installing the CM12.1 nightlies because 5.1.1 Lolipop is freaking amazing. Sure, CM12 based on Android 5.0.2 has the colorfade memory leak fix? But it doesn't have all the fixes that 5.1.1 does. My Memory usage and Android system battery drain definitely says otherwise.

Now, with that out of the way? You can try installing a custom launcher... but I'm unsure if Samsung's Touchwiz allows that without root or such... One of the better customizeable launchers is Nova.
