If I were building that I'd go with the Pentium G3258. You lose Hyperthreading but it overclocks like a MONSTER. (and it's cheaper!) I'd go with a Single 8GB Stick instead of 2 4GB ones too.

Why? That motherboard supports dual channel memory and has 4 slots. Also I won't be overclocking this build since It's an office pc.

4gb is just so small these days you are wasting slots for the future. As for the Proc it depends on what they plan on using it for then. In the end if it's just spreadsheets and the like just go with the cheaper Pentium.

No its not. Can you prove it by not running chrome and other poorly optimized software? I have 2x4GB too and I never run into memory shortage even when playing and browsing at the same time.

You spend more money OC the G3258 than buying the i3.

Z87/Z97 board+G3258+Cooling is more expensive than a i3+H81/B85/H97 board.
