27" 144Hz 1920X1080 OR 27" 60Hz 2560X1440

REX.exe

Just saw that a really nice 144Hz had gone down to the price of the current monitor I was planning on getting, cheaper actually.

What would be the better option?

System specs are in signature.

I love my 1440p monitor, unless you really need the 144hz go for the 1440p monitor. At least that's my advice.

Well it's up to you actually, but in my opinion, 144Hz. Because I like it smooth ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

1440p, m9+1

I've never played on 1440p or even 1080p for that matter. Will I notice it?

Well some people find it hard to notice the difference between 60Hz and 144Hz, I can, but I don't know about you.

Well going to 1440p is also good actually, better image detail.

Well I've come from console so I've never actually seen 60FPS. And I think 30 likes fine so I may notice it?

depends on what games you play, 1080p 144Hz is best for FPS games like Counter Strike, or COD

1440p is amazing for other types of games that are beautiful if you crank up the settings and the resolution.

for me personally I'd go with the 1440p, since really 144Hz is just an FPS thing

Early 2020 Build : Intel i7 8700k // MSI Krait Z370 // Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Aorus 5700 XT // NZXT H500

Early 2019 Build : Ryzen 2600X // Asus Tuff X470 // G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8x2 16GB // MSI RTX 2070 // NZXT H500

Late 2017 Build : Intel i7 8700k // Asus Prime Z370-A // G.Skill Trident Z 8x2 16GB // EVGA GTX 1080 Ti  // NZXT S320 Elite

Late 2015 Build : Intel i7 6700k // Asus Maximus VI Gene Z170 //  Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Gigabyte GTX 970 // Corsair Air 240

Wait, what? You have 4 Titan X? Sell 2 and get plasma TV with 50+ inch, 600 hz refresh rate and 3D and all stuff that comes along with epic TV like that. Then connect PC and play games like a god.
