Hey guys! I'm planning on buying the NZXT H440 case and I want to put 2 red LED strips in here (one at the bottom and one at the top). And I was just wondering, how long can the LED strip be? I'm planning on buying the Bitfenix Alchemy strip, and I was wondering if I should buy the 30cm one, or the 12cm one.

I think the 12cm one should be fine to light up the whole case.

You will want 30cm ones, as they would give much more even lighting.

I know you have mentioned BitFenix strips, but I thought I would mention another option.

Our LEDs are simple, you pick what you want. I will then make it, and send it right to your door. All you do is open package, peel off the sticky back, stick you where you want them, plug in the strip and turn on your computer.

You can pick the power cable length (10cm to 2 meters) Sleeving Colour (Black or Red) and choose either a 3pin fan connector or 4pin molex.

Please note that since Lays and jtai117's reviews we have updated our white LEDs and they are now brighter. The pictures Richard took are of our new brighter strips.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

BUT if you still want to go with BitFenix their 30cm strip would be best for you, just make sure it is the one that contains 15 LEDs, as they also do a 30cm strip that has 9LEDs further apart which could make the lighting look uneven and a bit patchy if you know what I mean.

Wow, thanks for this tip! I needed to constantly check this post in order to find some new replies! And thanks again for the LED's that you told me! I'll think about it. But do you guys have any dark red LED's? It will really look good on my rig (black and dark red).

Yes, our red is a dark red, you can see 2 pictures on our site ( Here ) not the best picture as I am currently stuck using a VERY old camera that just about does 720p. New camera coming soon so will be updating all the product images.
