delidded but broken i7 4790?

do you think someone would buy it? i delidded it and i accidentally knocked one the of the metal pieces off underneath and it no longer works.

if you look on the side where the contacts are all straight you can see that the bottom one has gone, my jumper caught it and pulled it off .

my cousin bought a athlon X2 3xxx+ from ebay for 15€ 7 years ago and it also came with a bent pin, but he could fix it good enough so it works and he never had problems with it

those are capacitors. I have fixed this before.

If you have a steady hand, patience, and a decent quality, thin-tipped soldering iron, you could re-solder the missing surface-mount ceramic capacitor...that is, if you can find out what the capacitance value for that missing part is.

 

Only if you didn't live half-way around the world from me, I could help fix it for you in a few minutes  .

 

That said, if you mention the missing capacitor in your ad description, I am sure somebody handy will buy it from you at a reasonable price.
