I7 5930k overheat with a watercooling system

Hi Guys.

I have a new I7 5930k with an Alphacool Eisberg 240 and when he is under 100% load he goes up to temps like 90° or more. When someone know the reason for this please say me.

I built the PC yesterday

Did you put thermal paste on as I would take off the cooler take off the old paste put on new paste and put the cooler back.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

Good chance the cooler isn't sitting down properly on the CPU.

That or possibly pump problems (double check that pump is getting power)

The usual culprit. Usually for me its with air coolers and their shitty installation compatibility with big hands. ( ͡ ͡° ͡°  ʖ ͡° ͡°)

Just make a younger sibling learn to use tools... it'll be worth for them too. My niece built her own computer this year at 10.

Sounds like conducting issue .. Check the Thermal Paste ..

I have the same processor and overclocked to 4.5 Ghz .. Temp is steady between 40-50 in normal load. In full load it touches near 80 ..

It seems the fans are about avarage: http://thermalbench.com/2015/05/14/alphacool-coolmove-2-1300-rpm-120mm-fan/

But the cooler it self seems to get good reviews: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/cooler_master_eisberg_240l_review,12.html

So unless there is a hugh difference between i7-3770K at 4600 MHz 1.3 Volts and i7-5930K at stock, in terms of tempratures, so is the problem somewhere else.

Best and average fan will only make 2-3*C difference.

Do you find your pump noisy? I use a Eisberg Solo couples with EK Coolstream PE 240 rad.
