What gpu should i get?

Go to solution Solved by WolfysTech,

GTX 750ti would be perfect, It requires no power from 6/8 Pin connectors, just plonk it in your PCIE Slot and you're good to go.

Atm i'm using a geforce gt 730, which isn't very powerfull. I want to upgrade to something that can handle more graphic intense games (gta v, the crew) on lower settings.

I have just a simple 300 watt psu, and i rather not upgrade. So what is the best gpu that doesn't require any power? My mobo is a 018d1y from dell. My psu is some bestec 300watt psu.

Thanks!

Your best bet would be a 750 ti, other cards would kill your power supply.

well, you could go for a 750Ti.

off the top of my head, it's about 2-3 times as powerful.

i saw people saying there are different versions of it and some need power and some don't. is that correct?

afaik, none actually *need* power, but quite a bunch of them have the option to.

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

i heard some bad stuff from people from NL, but i've personally had really good experiences from belgium.

i had 2 DOA routers in a row, which were both replaced, along with some other idiotic stuff.

they also are really well at giving simple troubleshooting steps.

yeah but all my experiences with coolblue are just great. they really take time to help you so i'd rather order from them. And if you look on the link from @Arcanekitten the lowest price of the msi is 152 euro, and the coolblue one is 159, i'm willing to pay 7 euro's more to get that awesome service. and they are one of the few companies that actually deliver after the day you order it.

that i do have to say, coolblue's service is a bit... extreme.

i know a guy that dropped his phone, after about 2 weeks of mailing back and forth they replaced the phone. (probably because they just gave up on hope)

what do you mean with extreme? the fact that they help some people very well and they don't help others the same way?

extreme as in i dont understand how they manage to pull off being *that* helpful, while still being profitable.

Go for the MSI Edition, as it's not too expensive nor cheap, or if you want a bit more power, switch to the ASUS STRIX 4GB edition, which is about a 1/3rd more
