does the r9 380 use around the same wattage as a gtx960 and what power connectors would i need for an r9 380? 6 or 8 pin?

The XFX, Sapphire and PowerColor R9 380 uses two 6-pin connectors, the MSI R9 380 uses an 8-pin and a 6-pin and the ASUS R9 380 uses one 8-pin.

Yeah but it's really easy to go to Newegg and look at the 960 and 380, nobody is going to memorize this. It's faster and more reliable to just find it yourself.
