Which GPU should i get?

Go to solution Solved by MMKing,

The way DX12 is built ensures excellent backwards compatibility. AMD currently advertise that all their 7000 series, 200 series and 300+Fury series cards support DX12. Nvidia advertise that 400, 500, 600, 700 and 900 series cards will support DX12.

As for 280x vs 380, the 280x performs better than the 380. Not by much, but unless it's a 50USD difference go for the 280x.

Hi, im looking at buying a new gpu to replace my cheapo igpu, im currently looking at either the Sapphire 280X vapor-X or the xfx 380.

Are these cards alright for 1080P gaming, or is there a different gpu that is alright for 1080P and has support for DX12?

does the 280x not support DirectX 12?

I'd go for the 280x anyway because it's more p[owerful and you can get a good oc on it
