iPhone 5C for $188 off contract! [Refurbished]

ZoZubin

Its still the cheapest screen that could find, slapped on to a phone that someone dropped on concrete.

I'd rather buy used from someone in America, than from a wholesaler in China.

If i'm honest. I'd rather buy an aluminum iPhone 5 new than a plastic iPhone 5C. That's just not what Apple is really known for.

Apple is know for their Aluminum phones by now. That Metal + Glass design outweighs the plastic models.

I rather have a refurbished one made out of half original and half aftermarket parts. then a secondhand one with small scratches. I just prefer having something that feels like a new device.

But that's my opinion.

But you're not exactly gonna feel those small scratches, are you?

i was when the iphone 4s came out.. i would make hella money off buying broken iphone 3g/3gs' and fixing them for next to nothing, turn em around for a profit.. (its hard to find work in the town i live in....) one lady gave me 80$ and an HTC desire HD (when it was still a newish phone) for a half refurbished iphone 3g xD

Well no, but still. when you look close they're there. Just doesn't feel like having a new device that came directly from a factory.

Pretty sure it was. The only plastic phones were the 3G, 3GS, and 5C.

I don't think dhgate links are allowed tbh, and it's $198 not $188. Also should be noted in the OP/title that price is for the 8GB model that leaves about 5.2GB left to the user, which is useless for anyone who wants to put a decent amount of apps and/or media on their phone. Unless you don't use that many apps, and have have unlimited data and stream to of your media, don't buy a phone with 8GB of non-expandable memory.

I'd rather just get a 2015 moto g if that was my budget. Hopefully that'll have 16GB storage.

The top 3/4 is aluminum. The bottom quarter was plastic, because cellular radio doesn't pass well through aluminum. To this day they still haven't solved that completely, that's why there's still those horizontal lines of plastic on aluminum phones like the iPhone 6 and HTC One.
