Noob question with mobo driver

Go to solution Solved by SkixAces,

The difference is compatibilty. On my laptop for example, have I downloaded the audio driver from the software producer. After rebooting my sound didnt work anymore and I got an error saying something like this: The hardware is expecting to find driver xxxxxxx but has detected driver xxxxxxx which doesnt work.

Just download from the motherboard site, since they will always work

Hello , so you know then you go to your mobo website and you can download BIOS , drivers and such .. And there some "Realtek Function driver for Realtek Azalia audio chip (Including Microsoft UAA Driver in English edition)" drivers , what do they do , how do they differ from ones that you can download and realtek website ?? Because i think i senn something in the BIOS about to enable or disable this Azalia thing.

Thank you , and sorry for my abd english , if you don't understand something just ask :D

you should not download drivers from the realtek website

only used the ones provided by your motherboard manufacturer on the "support/downloads" page of your motherboard
