With more powerful rotors and a smaller caliber such as .22 LR this could be easier to operate and maintain as well as having a smaller form. Put a high capacity ammo container with a cricket rifle, or any .22 rifle, and that could be a viable military or pmc defense drone.

Targeting and aiming?

Point toward target, cross fingers.

Targeting and aiming?

If the drone has a camera that the controller operates it with then its only a matter of creating a reticle that overlays on the video then aiming and securing the firearm in question to where rounds fired hit the area where the reticle is pointed.

the downside to this would be in order to adjust your aim you would essentially need to move the whole unit.

a more advanced set up would require the firearm and camera to be on gimbals and synched with each other so they operate independently from flight/drive controls

Oh so now we have to fit a video system and some sort of decision making system ( 'is that a bird within the cordon or is it an 'enemy' drone')  system within a drone that is the sort of size as the one shown in the video.
