Looking for reasons why PSUs keep blowing up.

SpyRosL

my pc is outside the case sitting on a book with hardcoded cover which i think is non-static. I had to move for the summer and i wanted the pc to come with me but the case wouldn't fit inside the suitcase so i took all the hardware except the case with me. Not very smart but it works.

Note: pc was working fine for 2 straight months without the case so that is 100% not the problem.

thats weird, i would suggest to get a cheap psu and test if the machine boots up fine, with factory bios settings and everything, just the basic configuration to get the PC properly booted up and see if there is still a problem, if it kills the PSU again, then it could be the mobo, or try using the pc without some devices to see if it changes anything(?)

Very strange problem what you have there my friend
