Facebook Preps “Moneypenny” Digital Assistant

Apple's Siri, Google Now, and Microsoft Cortana focus on productivity, Moneypenny is actually a way to ask real people for help researching and buying products and services. Facebook is testing it internally.  Facebook's Moneypenny will have services where you just text a person what you need and they figure out the logistics.

Facebook Messenger, which is led by former PayPal CEO David Marcus, has been investing in making the texting app more of a shopping tool

 

 

I can see good collaboration with Amazon and other e-tailers

Moneypenny has been in Bond movies since forever afaik, not just the new ones.

Trust me, I know, I love the Bond movies. Moneypenny was only recently brought back though IIRC. I just thought since the new Bond movie is coming out in a couple months that it might be an advertisement of some sort.
