Should I get a 144hz for older games? I do play 2015 games but i wont expect 144hz will it be okay to just hover around 60 on a 144hz?

~23" i hate monitor prices i was gonna get a used 144hz panel for $300... cant imagine any more than $400 AUD

I'd say it's not needed unless you want it. That said, if you have problem with tearing at 60 fps, you can always flip the screen to 60Hz when you need to.
