VSR HD 7950

I was reading that VSR is now available for HD 7xxx series with the new Omega 15.7 drivers. I installed them and I don't see the option for it anywhere. Anyone know how to enable them? Thanks!

What windows version are you using? Some people on the forum have reported that the option doesn't show up in windows 10.

1. Open up Catalyst Control Center.
2. On the left-side menu, click on "My Digital Flat-Panels."
3. Click on "Properties (Digital Flat-Panel)" from the drop-down list.
4. You should see the option, "Enable Virtual Super Resolution" in the 'Image Scaling Preferences' sub-section.
5. Click "Apply."
6. Crank up the resolution in-game.

Depending on your display, there is a maximum you can increase the resolution.

• 1920 x 1080 60 Hz -- up to 2560x1440, 3200x1800 (newer GPUs can go up to 4K)
• 2560 x 1440 60 Hz -- up to 3200 x 1440
• 1920 x 1080 120 Hz -- 1920 x 1200, 2048 x 1536, 120 Hz

I've been running 2560 x 1440 with my 7970's in BF4 for the last few days.

I just installed the new 15.7 drivers for my Intel system (that has a HD 7950 in it), so I'll give that a try later this week.

Hmmm i just tried it fordota 2 and i dont see any res above 1080p.. (im using u2414h)

Remember, you need to set the larger resolution in-game.

(You can do it in Windows "Screen Resolution"...but that applies to everything).

Nvm it seems that dota 2 doesnt have that option. I can set it in BF4...

TBH i dont really see any difference at all

Are you using Borderless mode in Dota 2? Need to go fullscreen.

I had the issue where the option for VRS wasn't in CCC....The following sorted the problem, do a clean install of the drivers, run driver sweeper first to remove any traces of the previous AMD drivers and the option should appear CCC when you have installed 15.7...

You meant Display Driver Uninstaller right? Because no one should be using Driver Sweeper in 2015.

no i meant driver sweeper, the older version, it works a treat....

I just used the latest version posted in the link. Worked like a champ.

I tried both driver sweeper 3.2 and latest DDU, still no VSR popping up for me. seems like Pitcairn is more problematic than other cards.

I can use VSR but no 4k. Is there a limit on certain cards?
