So, I have a Corsair K70 that I just spilt a liquid on. After immediately unplugging and then cleaning the liquid off I was testing the keys and noticed the "7" key on my numb pad types. "7." And while typing this, I noticed P and the non-num pad "." does this as well. P types "p." but only when not holding shift, and . types ".." again only while not holding shift. Anyone know how to solve this? Should I send it to Corsair or open it and clean it myself? Thanks guys.

Edit: Now it keeps randomly turning off and on.

@Charger @TheProfosist know keyboard internals good

I would send it back to Corsair.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Not sure what the warranty is like on these. I got it in February. The period problem seems to have stopped, but it still keeps turning off and back on randomly.

  • Any modification, abuse, accident, disassembly, misapplication, or unauthorized repair.
  • Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect in materials or workmanship.                                                                                                                                                       These were taken directly from the Corsair website. If you know the internals of keyboards well, then i suggest that you take it apart and clean it, if not, you can contact Corsair and see what they can do for you. I recently spilled liquid on my quickfire tk, which caused certain keys to input the entire homerow, and after taking it apart and cleaning the board it began functioning as if it was new.

This is weird, so now everything seems to be working fine. I had some issues with the "." key thinking it was the "0" key. But everything seems to be working. I still ordered an RMA just in case.

That is what happened to me. At first, it was inputting random characters, and now it works perfectly fine. What kind of liquid did you spill? If it was sugary than you will have a bigger problem than you would have with water.

It was a melted shaved ice, so it was sticky. Now is the only is the keyboard turning off and back on, I read rebooting the PC might help and I haven't had that since.

Edit: Nevermind just rebooted again.
