Hi guys I own this kit:

Unfortunately the blu-ray player died .... (Overvoltage)

I want to know if I can just change the player and keep the speakers

So I want a replacement that supports 5.1 and HDMI (Amplifier or Player)

Preferably LG

My problem is that I have a feeble budget: 100€ max

Would it make it?

I don't need Blu-ray player, wi-fi , 3d or smart functions .....

It's just for my pc I want to watch movies / play in 5.1

Thanks for upcoming answers (Sorry for bad english)

Right, was going to help you.

I think your best bet for that budget is to go on your local used stuff site (whatever it is where you are)

and pick up a 5.1 receiver, and a new, powered sub woofer.

It will be difficult to find a receiver that can power a passive sub.

And do you mean this: http://www.ldlc.com/...PB00169461.html

Can't do it?

Because i don't really want to buy used stuff

I'm going to make a hole order on that site (PC + Monitors........) so i wanted to get a home cinema on that website.

So apart from receiver + subwoofer there aren't any other solutions?

Nope it cant.

A solution would be to see if you can find the same exact thing, but they don't sell it separate, so you would have to look on ebay or something.

It appears to be 6 ohms, which isn't standard. let me check what ohms the speakers you have are

Bad news, your speakers are 3 ohms, you will need to find a 3 ohm receiver. It would be best to find the exact same unit

Honestly, used audio gear is generally kept in pretty good condition, so it's not a bad idea to get some used gear. (I paid ~$700 US for the headphones I'm wearing, and they were used...) The thing is, as long as the drivers weren't poked, or treated poorly, they can last for a very, very long time.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
