Hi I have gtx980 and latest nvidia 353.30 driver, running on windows 10 latest build. GTA V and Whither chashes frquently for me, it just says that nvidia drives has crashed and now is recovered. Also I have tried to install 353.38 drived, but that didnt solved the problem. Anyone has similar issues?

uninstall all drivers. reinstall. restart pc.

did that, didnt helped.

Could be due to windows 10, but I have it running on my laptop, and all seems fine so far... (haven't tried anything more demanding than war thunder)

 

Try rolling back drivers, because people say the recent drivers are a bit less stable.

There is a hot fix driver I believe that was supposed to help. 

 

Not sure if it will help with Win10 though.

There is a hot fix driver I believe that was supposed to help. 

 

Not sure if it will help with Win10 though. 

I have that hot fix driver installed, but that didnt changed anything

Are you OC'd? 

 

This is the hot fix I was thinking http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3694        But that is with G-sync but I was thinking it may help...

There was some discussion on the EVGA forum that the new drivers aren't liking heavy overclocks, but to my knowledge no sound proof.

Downgrade to 350.12

That's the last working drives I'm using.

Overclock is unrelated as I'm running stock and I've had crashes before.

problem is that windows 10 dont have that version of drivers

Tried to play gta v for 30mins with stock clocks, and so far so good. Will report later.

Have played gta v today, for a good hour without overclock and everything worked just fine. I suppose win10 drivers dont like oc.
