Ive never liked the RAT mice. I really thought they were very ugly.

How people do that is beyond me. Using 400 or 800dpi at my resolution causing all sorts of pixel skipping. (If I maintain reasonable sensitivity)

that makes no sense. it shouldn't skip any pixels at 400 dpi.

Ahh that would make sense however I believe the pixel skipping comes from the fact my in game sensitivity is usually so high. So games compensate by skipping pixels because the mouse is not getting enough information. At high dpi low in game sensitivity I don't have this issue. Basically I play fps' mainly bf4 and I never have to move my arm, I just pivot my wrist and I can spin around multiple times. It suits me and I am fairly good at fps'. So it's not as crazy as it might sound.

no you aren't. bf4 is casual  :P  high sens just straight up doesn't work in games where you need precision/speed.

jackfrags (cs 1.6 pro or source whatever) plays bf4 at 400 dpi and 10% sensitivity.

Not sure how that logic applies. Back when I played on console for I always set sensitivy to max in every game, my k/d in the cod games was around 2.5, battlefield was like 1.6. I play bf4 with 6% sensitivity 5200dpi and have a k/d above 1.9. I know k/d does not truly account for skill but I obviously can hold my own and I am an objective player. Not some dude who sits in conquest and camps it out. Rush for lyfe yo.

well yeah. okay, you played on console at max sens, I can understand that, movement is limited on a gamepad.

But for mouse you have space mate. When you use big area to aim you can get muscle memory and then you don't need to aim anymore you just flick without thinking. If you use 2cm area to aim you move a little bit and your aim goes all over the place.

This is true, I know I should be toning it down but it's hard to because don't like trying that much. I am actually pretty lazy when it comes to gaming. I don't even bother with mouse and keyboard unless it's online competitive. I prefer laying on my bed with a controller lol. Maybe I will slowly lower sensitivity to try to get used to it to be a better player.

Honestly, I feel like a 5/10 is generous for this mouse, generous for this company.

I was previously an owner of an M.M.O.7. Day one was great, however quite literally, from day two onward, things went downhill.

I can sum up my experience in a few words:

Mouse lasted about 13 months. Support took over six months to get back to me, and nearly four years later, I still have not one, not two, not three, but four support tickets pending action on their behalf.

I will do without a peripheral before I EVER purchase something from MadCatz or their subsidiary names, ever again.
